Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-09-09Last updated: 2026-09-09

This policy explains what happens to personal information when you use the T4 Inventory website at www.t4inventory.com, and what we do with the details you send us through the demo request form.

It is written to describe what the software actually does. Where something has not been verified, this policy says so rather than making a claim.

1. Who we are

T4 Inventory is a product of TECH4 SOLUTIONS LLC, a limited liability company with a business address at 125 Commerce Dr, Schaumburg, IL 60173, United States.

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean TECH4 SOLUTIONS LLC. "T4 Inventory" means the product and the brand.

For anything in this policy, including a request about your information, write to support@t4app.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the public T4 Inventory website and the demo request form on it.

It also describes, in general terms, the categories of information the T4 Inventory application handles. The application is a separate system with its own database and its own service providers. If you are a customer using the application, your use of it is governed by the agreement between your business and us, and that agreement, not this page, determines how we handle the records your business loads into the product.

What this policy does not cover

  • Websites we link to. Selecting "Start free" or "Log in" takes you to tech4shops.com, and "Contact us" takes you to t4app.com. Those are different systems with their own handling of information.
  • What your own business does with the records it enters into T4 Inventory about its customers, vendors or staff. For those records your business decides what is collected and why; we process them on its instructions.

3. What we collect on this website

If you only read the website, you do not give us any personal information. The website sets no cookies for ordinary visitors, and it loads no third-party fonts, analytics or advertising. The one third-party script is Cloudflare Turnstile, and it loads only on the demo request page, as described below.

Demo requests

The only place this website collects personal information is the demo request form. It asks for:

  • Your name, required.
  • Your business name, required.
  • Your email address, required.
  • Your phone number, optional.
  • Your type of business, optional.
  • A message describing what you would like to see, optional.

When you submit the form we also record the language of the page you used and the date and time of the submission, so we can reply in the right language and keep the requests in order.

Information used only while the request is processed

To stop automated abuse of the form, the server briefly holds your IP address in memory to count how many submissions have come from the same address recently, and it compares the site your request came from against our own domain. Neither the IP address nor those details are written to our database. The IP address is discarded when the server instance is recycled.

The demo request page also runs Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people apart from automated programs. It reads technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address, browser user agent and connection details, and sends them to Cloudflare. It does not receive what you type into the form. Our server then asks Cloudflare whether the check passed. We do not store the result.

Your language preference

When you choose English or Spanish, that choice is stored in your own browser under the name "t4i.locale". It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can remove it by clearing your browser data.

Administrator accounts

A small number of our staff sign in to an administration area on this website to read demo requests. For those accounts we hold an email address, a username and a password stored as a bcrypt hash. This does not apply to visitors.

4. Why we use it, and on what basis

We use the details you send through the demo request form for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and arrange a walkthrough of the product. We do not use them for anything else.

When a request arrives, the website passes it to the T4 Inventory application, which emails all of it to our sales inbox and shows our staff a short alert in the application's administration panel and on their phones. That alert contains only your name, your business name and your type of business, not your email, phone or message.

We handle that information because you asked us to contact you, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry and in protecting the form from automated abuse. The website is intended for business and professional use.

We do not build profiles, we do not score or rank you, we do not enrich what you send us with information from other sources, and we make no automated decisions about you.

This policy does not claim compliance with any particular privacy law, framework or certification. If a specific legal regime applies to you and you want to know how we would handle a request under it, write to support@t4app.com and we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot do.

5. Who else is involved

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We do use service providers to run the website, and they necessarily handle the information as part of that. They act for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Saying "we never share your data" would be inaccurate, so here is exactly who is involved:

ProviderWhat it handlesWhy
Amazon Web Services, including Amplify Hosting and CloudFrontEvery request to the website, which includes your IP address and browser user agentHosting and delivering the website
MongoDBThe demo request you submit, and our administrator accountsStoring the enquiry so we can reply to it
Cloudflare (Turnstile)Technical signals from your browser on the demo request page, including your IP addressTelling people apart from automated programs
The T4 Inventory application and its email serviceEverything in the demo request, sent as an email to our sales inboxTelling our sales team about the request
Google Firebase Cloud MessagingYour name, business name and type of business, in an alert to our staff's phonesTelling our sales team about the request

That is the complete list for this website. There is no customer relationship system, no marketing tool and no payment provider connected to it.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

The T4 Inventory application

The application uses additional providers, because it does more. Based on our own review of its code, those include Amazon S3 for files and documents, Stripe and PayPal where a customer chooses to take payments, Twilio where a customer chooses to send text messages, and, in the Android app, Google services for crash reporting, analytics, push messaging and a location fix used by the time clock feature. The iOS app includes no analytics or crash reporting. If you are a customer, the agreement with your business covers these in detail.

6. Where information is held

The website is hosted on Amazon Web Services and demo requests are stored in a MongoDB database. Both are operated in the United States, and if you write to us from another country your information will be handled there.

We have not verified, and therefore do not claim, that the database or its backups are encrypted at rest. We also do not know what access logs our hosting provider keeps or for how long. If either becomes important to you, ask us and we will find out rather than guess.

7. Security

No website can promise that information is completely safe, and we are not going to make that promise. What we can describe are the measures actually in place:

  • The website is served over HTTPS.
  • The administration area requires a sign-in, and administrator passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes rather than as text.
  • Changing an administrator password requires a valid session and the current password, and the account is locked for fifteen minutes after five failed attempts.
  • Demo requests can only be read or deleted by a signed-in administrator.
  • Error messages returned by the site do not reveal database details.

If you believe you have found a security problem with this website, write to support@t4app.com.

8. How long we keep it

InformationHow long
Demo requests365 days from the date the request was received, after which the database deletes it automatically
The email to our sales inbox, and the alert in the administration panelNot deleted automatically; removed when you ask us to delete your request
Your language preferenceIn your own browser until you clear it
IP address used to limit form abuseMinutes, in server memory, never written to the database
Administrator accountsFor as long as the person needs access
Hosting provider access logsSet by the provider; we have not confirmed the period

The 365-day deletion of demo requests is enforced by the database itself, not by someone remembering to do it. Deletion happens shortly after a request reaches 365 days rather than at the exact second, because the database runs that clean-up as a background task.

If you ask us to delete your request sooner, we will.

9. Your choices and requests

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to support@t4app.com from the address you used, or tell us enough for us to find the request.

We handle these by hand. A person will check who you are before acting, so that someone cannot have your information deleted or disclosed by pretending to be you. We will respond within a reasonable time and tell you what we did.

There is deliberately no public link that deletes a request without checking who is asking.

We do not send marketing email from this website, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from. If we contact you about your enquiry and you would rather we did not, say so and we will stop.

10. Age

T4 Inventory is a business product. It is not directed at children, and this website is not intended for anyone under 18. Do not use the demo request form if you are under 18.

If we learn that we have received information from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe that has happened, write to support@t4app.com.

11. Cookies and measurement

Browsing the public website

The public pages set no cookies. We checked this on the live site: the home page, both language versions, and the demo request pages return no cookie of any kind.

The demo request page loads Cloudflare Turnstile in its own frame. Anything Turnstile stores in your browser is set by Cloudflare and governed by Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum, not by us. We have not yet re-checked the demo pages for cookies since adding it.

The one thing stored on your device is your language choice, "t4i.locale", kept in your browser's local storage. It is not a cookie, it never reaches our server, and it exists only so the site opens in the language you picked.

Signing in to the administration area

This is different, and it applies only to our own staff. When someone signs in at /admin, the authentication library sets cookies that are strictly necessary to keep them signed in and to protect the sign-in form against cross-site request forgery. They are named "__Host-next-auth.csrf-token", "__Secure-next-auth.callback-url" and "__Secure-next-auth.session-token". The session cookie lasts 30 days by default. No visitor to the public site receives these.

Analytics

There is no analytics product, no advertising tag and no crash reporting on this website. The code can hand a small number of events, such as "a demo request was submitted", to a tag manager if one is ever installed, but none is installed today, so those events go nowhere. They never include your name, email, phone or message. If we connect a measurement tool in future, we will update this section before doing so.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how the website handles information, we will change this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant we will say what changed rather than quietly replacing the text.

Because this policy describes what the software does, a change to the software that affects your information should arrive together with a change to this page.
